ok guys, so, i'm new here... but i decided to post my rebuild that i have in progress right now.

here's the stats(what i'm starting with):

99 montero sport

air ride system

2 memphis power refernece 15's tuned to 34 hz

kenwood 7" touchscreen

5 tv's total

22" BIGG rims

here's video 1 on my build vlog

an here's where i'm going from here...

first step, rebuild the air system.

new 1/2" ARP air manifold.

new piping

(slam specialists re5's up front and re7's in rear, with a cup set up front, mini notch/ 4 link rear pending)

(engine driven compressor in the works)

here's video 2 of my build log...

and now onto the good stuff... what is planned.

i have 4 15" t3 audio t1000's on order, should take about 3 weeks to get here, they'll be in a 15 ft3 box, tuned to 32 hz

they will be pushed with two PA BAMF 5500d's

mechman 240 amp alt

big 3 upgrade with 2/0 wire running everything

components are still unsure, but i'll be running 2 6.5 components and a 8" mid glassed into each door

car-puter, running windows 7 glassed into the dash

new headreast monitors, interior upholstrey, and other small touches

as well as body work and paint.

this project is going to be massive.... so let me know what you guys think, and subscribe on youtube for updates. (i'm trying to make this mainly a video log for the build)

it had an exaust leak of the flex pipe leading up to the cat... the truck was sitting for 3 years, so i have ALOT of rebuilding to do, just to take it back to driving condition

thanks bro... it's going to take a while... but it should be massive... i'm still thinking about ordering another 4 t1000's and walling off the back, but i'm not sure yet

sometimes wth too many subs you'll run into phase and cancellation problems
yea i thought about that... i'm going to wait to get the 4 t1000's in, and see how i like it, and then go from there... i'm looking to get above 150 with this set up, which is completely do able... so we'll see...

here's what i have on the box so far

Nice ride! First time I've ever seen a bagged Montero. Not really diggin the rims, but still looks good! This build log caught my attention for sure. Look forward to updates.

yea the rims have been on there for about 5 or 6 years now... i picked them up when 22's were the "new" thing... that and doing "big chrome" was what everyone was doing... i'm think of scrapping them for some nice 6 spoke 24's, but i'm gonna finish the build first.

also... this is not that interesting... but i picked some of this up yesterday...

this is true 2/0 gauge wire (double zero)... its really hard to get ahold of anymore

heres a pic of it next to my old 4 gauge just to show a size comparison... this **** is massive!

I think that it would really set it off with some better looking rims.. But its still a nice project!

yea... that will def be the next thing i do once i finish this build, is get some 24's... well in between throwing twin turbos on the mustang, and rebuilding the bike, lol... i have TOO many projects, lol

The surprise wasn’t that they didn’t offer one…it’s how much engineering went into making it easily replaceable, and then not offering one. Maybe...
