Why would an SPL competition sub to be loud? SPL competition subs are practically the worst for getting loud! You should look for a different sub, SPL subs are not for you if you want loud subs.

Mine got loud, but i never got around to building a ported box for mine. They also wanted more then just one 1501bd

No, they dont get loud.

SPL competitions are won with quiet subs. The quiter, the better.

If you put up a db reading of 10 or more, you are disqualified for being too loud.
