2011 Lexus RX

Full audio upgrade in a Lexus RX using only an iPhone as a source running directly into a Helix DSP Pro via USB audio.

This is the Helix controller used for volume and sub level control. I built a little pod out of expanded PVC, a little Dyna-Glass and lightweight body filler. It's covered in matching vinyl and located within easy reach in the drivers location.

The hatch was designed to be able to swap equipment out without much extra work. As of now, it's Zapco, JL Audio and a Helix DSP Pro.

Sub duty at the moment is a single SI BMK 12".

I spent a solid two days sitting on my legs wiring up this monstrosity of barrier strips.

Helix DSP Pro with the mid bass, center channel and sub RCA's connected and run to the JL 900/5 HD amps.

Wiring for the iPhone to the Helix via USB audio.

Door dampened.

Outer door dampened.

Under hood stuff.

Did you have any issues adding this to your factory system? I will be using an lc2 to add my IA20.1 and hst12mkll to my cadillac here in the very near future. Clean install by the way dude.

The factory system is not used at all in this particular install. The only source is an iPhone ran directly into the Helix processor.
