Guess I'll throw this up there. Though I had already but I guess not. Took it from multiple posts so it may seem a little weird going through the pictures and descriptions.

So after several months of saying I was going to do this, I have finally started taking steps to finishing. Still have equipment to buy, but I know what I am going to use for the most part. Speakers still up in the air at this point.

Goal is to have a more SQ oriented build and making it look nice.

Amps:

IA20.1 for sub, overkill but YOLO

IA3.4 for Tweets and 4" Door Speakers

IA3.4 for underseat 8s

Speakers:

SA10 in Fiberglass Enclosure in trunk

Earthquake SWS8s or Pioneer Slim 8s under front seats in OEM enclosure/location

4" Focal, CDT or something else in OEM locations

Tweeters - Focal, CDT or other in OEM locations

Processor:

JBL MS8

Wire:

1/0 Blue and White

4AWG Blue and White

DIY RCAs from Canare Cable

Using the OEM radio and Navone LOCs

Now a few pictures

Starting the fiberglass work. UV Cure Resin makes everything go so fast.

Amps laid out in trunk

And the DIY RCAs. Need to find some blue heatshrink, the rcas openings I got was a tad too small for the wire.

All thats left is to rewire up the MS-8, and get the other 2 amps in.

20.1 is apparently not working so I have to send that off for repair and I think I am going to pick up a 10.1 in the mean time.

Enclosure test fitting and wiring up amps.

Sub in and trying to test, amps in, 20.1 not working.

1st part of the false floor in

Top part cut out. Router was on the fritz so I had to cut everything with a jigsaw. Doesnt look too bad considering.

Test fit and it actually fit. Removeable panel cut out as well

Now for carpeting

Bondoing the enclosure to smooth it out.

Looking nice. Gotta cut some vents into the removeable panel for airflow to the amps and carpet it. Also got to dye the carpet darker. Didnt quite get the color to match up with the first dye attempt.

Well got some new toys in thanks to Vertex Audio. Great guys, great prices and fast shipping. What more could you ask for?

Since the IA20.1 is being repaired, I picked up an IA10.1 for the time being. Got the amps all laid out as well as the MS-8. I was trying to get a way for the MS8 to be visible (1st Pic), but there are no good ways to do it, so I am going to hide it in the corner. Didn't realize the MS-8 was so big when I was cutting and building.

Going to just go with showing the 3 amps and hiding the MS-8 like this. Now all that's left is wiring everything up. Still need to order Blue/White Power cables and I need some more supplies to make more RCAs.

Nice. Always liked this kind of stuff. When doing fiberglass, is it still possible to go ported and adjust the tuning frequency to whatever you want or is that not something that people do?

I never know anyone to do a fiberglass port. I have always like this stuff to and get ideas. Never fiberglassed before but going to try it soon with a pillars then the sub

Sounds great. I have it set to play 20hz to 80hz and from about 25-65 it is a very flat response. Maybe only 1 db difference throughout that band

U like the ms8 I am thinking about getting one. Quick ? Do u have u u r remote wire going straight to the ms8 then remote out to both amps or do u have a relay going to all 3 items

I have it going to the ms8 then to a distro block then to the amps.

It's a nice unit that does everything for you. I just want more control so I am going to sell the ms8 I think and get something else.

Lmk if you want to buy it

Well got some new carpet thanks to EAS in C Springs. Closest match i could find. Hoping after a little bit it may fad some and match. Also put a white "Leather" on the bottom baffle and I'm debating between putting the white leather on the amp cover, or doing the carpet.
