2003 Impala

bigger air filter. Remove your catalytic converter(illegal). douse your car with teflon(joke) basically the only way to do this and save gas is to improve the flow of air in and out of your engine which would be intake and exhaust

Contrary to what appears to be popular belief, modifiying a car for performance purposes, will quite often improve efficiency. If a simple bolt-on worsens your economy ratings, then you lost some power. When a car makes more power, the engine is under less stress at cruising speeds, and is usually at a lower RPM. The threshold at which, this usually changes, is when you have to modify the fuel system. By modifying the fuel system, I mean making the AFR richer to support modifications. A good intake system, a decent exhaust, and some good plugs/wires should help wake the car up a little, and actually improve mileage, as long as you drive like a civilized human being.

you dont know what the fuck you're talking about

kill yourself
OK so I was mistaken about the engines available on an old Impala. Doesn't matter, cause they're both slow. And I guarantee, as far as general knowledge of engines and cars in general goes, I'm better off than most people.
