Im going to be making a box soon for a 2512. Dont have enough space to do a slot port so I was thinking i would do 2-3" aero ports in a 2.7ft3 box before any deductions tuned to 35Hz. I cant find a port calculator that allows that configuration.

Would 2-3" ports be more effeicent than a single 4"? The longest i could make the ports is 10".

The sub will be getting about 1000w

Thanks for any help.

Thanks guys, so lets say i had no length restiction what would be the most effeicent areo port, two 3" or one 4"?

RAM, you say i could "try" 4" areo 9.5" long- that is leading me to beleive that it wouldnt be the best box for a 2512.

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage

Don't forget Hoffman's Iron Law. You can have 2 of the 3: low end, efficiency/sensitivity or small enclosure size...
