1 1/0 ofc = 300-350 amps

It's more than the current capacity. CCA will build heat faster, heat builds resistance that builds more heat and even more resistance.

Two runs of cca will be plenty for that amp.

So would one run of OFC. I doubt he is running over a 300 amp alternator. There is only so much power that can come from the front.

Does say but since the OFC is not heating up and that Hifonics amp is not that strong I doubt it's all that much.

Does this help make sence about how heat effects it? Using something is totally different than just sticking leads in it. The guy that did the vid you posted probably knows this, that's why he did it his way. So he could promote what he likes and sells.
