Um why no more Jl?

Try find a deal on some JL audio 7.7 inch marine speakers. I will guarantee they will hit harder and sound twice as clean as any 6x9 that costs as much.

Why don't you just get actually 1 good sub, i don't get why everyone is so into having subs they don't need. Why not get like a JL w6? or 2 12w3s if you really want two.

But what do you guys even go for in a speaker? When you say sound better, does that mean SQ wise or SPL wise?

Hm, did you ever have the sound maxed out? Like on the head unit, same thing happened to my right one, I think because I didn't have them amped, so I had to turn up to volume very high to get the output I wanted, which I believe caused distortion which killed the tweeter.

Jls if you have them on a decent amp, however if you have them on some cheap piece of junk, they wont sound nearly as good. JL is the best man.

How about some JL audio xr650-csi?

JL amps are by far the best, you can get a 900/5 for around 700, maybe less. I don't know where you were looking to see 1k....

I heard the infinities and they sounded horrible.
