What amp do you have on it right now and what ohm load? They will take up to 3.5k at the most rms on clean power. I'll be pushing my pair with a Wolfram 3k soon, when I get my Tahoe fixed. It's gonna be under rated power to the subs but what I had before in amps this is certainly a big upgrade...

Well one of 2 things that did it really....

Might be **** wire that you have too since all wire isn't all the same. Enaduqate wire gauge will at times cause power wire to get warm/hot. Bad voltage. Gain too high turned up, bass boost on amp cranked up. Turn that **** down if it is. It induces clipping and will destroy your audio...

I bet this will be a fail too since the last time he told us how easy it was to do 160's from 2 subs in a wall and failed miserably. Only 2-3 years later he still has nothing...
