HU and RCA input sensitivity

is there a problem if my head unit outputs 4v while the amp rca input sensitivity is from 0.2-2v only?
No, but it's rare for an amp to not have at least 4-5v input sensitivity. You'll need to keep the volume on your HU 3db below it's maxed unclipped output.
