cause i had some boxes laying around and wanted some bump in my truck i should have my 2 18 test box in tomorrow and be charging at 18.4 im only doing 2 right now to figure out the proper air space for 4 of them before i build the monster box 2 layers of birch all around and a tripple top flush mount and 4x4 45ed for all corners and 2x4 for bracing
well i built my test box today it 8.4 cubes after dis with 2 6 inch aeros tuned to 28.5 and it looks like i need more port area from how its acting im thinking like 3 6 inch aeros what do you guys think i will have pics of the box build up soon
and my current term lab score is a 151 at 38htz on music untuned
i also need to tune higher cause the fs is 41htz on my 18s the fs on the axis is 22htz witch is how i got away with a 9.5 cube box with 57 inches of port tuned to 27
after i add the 3rd aero to my test box i will have 10.6875 inches of port per cube instead of 6.7 as it sits witch should help and will be tuned to 35hrz

im stubbern not stupid why do you think i built a test box
im going to get the test box doing 154s + on 16v before i build the 4 18 box
why? the real box wont react the same as the test box, so you are basically wasting your time
i know that but want to at least have an idea what the subs like

yep spl subs like dem dere big ports.
and if i go 16v and i murder the subs then i will get differant speakers or run one amp on all 4 if i find out i need 4 6 inch areos for 2 18s then i know im going to have to do a slot port instead of aeros and i want to find out my tuning
i have $60 in the test box my the box im building for the 4 18s will be over $200 so got to make sure it at least close to what the subs want
