Re: Pioneer or Alpine?

its all personal preference. i love alpines. i own a 9830, 9833, 9853, and a 9855, and i have to get another soon. i just installed a 9856 in my buddies car this morning. their quality is awesome and consistant from year to year with their upper end models anyway.

Re: Pioneer or Alpine?

pioneer for the win if you ask me. i think in terms of SQ the Pioneer and Alpine are same level but the Pioneer has BBE and that owns MX. Pioneer is also much easier to operate sine you only need one or two buttons for everything. plus, i think their screens just look better. i dont like the green oel screen the alpine has.

Re: Pioneer or Alpine?

I have owned many pioneers and alpines and the best sounding systems I ever owned had pioneer running them.

Re: Pioneer or Alpine?

My vote is for Alpine. I have had several over the last few years, keep changing which model I like. I would pick them over Pioneer, but then again that is my preference. I like that it is easy to mix and match your setup.
