got called in for jury duty

i recieved a mail stating i am due for jury duty. this is my 2nd time cause i postponed the first due to school/work. since it is my second, my father told me i am required to go which i will. i have never done this procedure before. can someone chime in and let me know how this works? i read the back but stil have few questions. just prepping to make sure i have everything set

from what i know:

-call the number provided 1 day advance

-arrive at the address provided. but what time exactly?

-do i need to bring any legal documents?

-do i have to pay in any circumstance?

-once i show up, what exactly happens ?

just call them show up at the time they tell u. they screen u and hten decide and if u get picked then u go to be part of the jury and get paid like 10$

Honestly, Jury duty blows, find any way out of it you can. It pays horrible, like here alot less than what i make, and you have stupid people to deal with (for instance since its public knowledge now, a case i had to hear was a drug case in KCMO the guys defence was" i didnt know meth was illegal" the votes were 2 guilty vs everybody innocent.)

I don't have to do any jury duty ever since I am not a citizen.

Yup i have jury duty coming up on the 16th. The pay 20 bucks a day and like 75 cents a gallon. So atleast you get some sort of gas money from them!
