Quality of RCA's Matter?

OK, I have a little problem. I have a pair of Shivas run by a JBL 600.1 amp and a Blaupunkt Austion HU. My bro has the same setup, but with a Pioneer HU. He also has differant RCA's. He bought this "nice" pair for $20. I jut am using the ones that came with my $30 4 gauge wire kit. The thing is, when I am playing a song, and even when there is no bass, I can hear this slight constant bass sound from my box. My brother's setup does not do this. Does mine make thiis noise because my HU is differant or is it because he spent the extra money and got the "better" RCA's. If I got better quality RCA's would that eliminate my noise? Does the Quality of RCA's really matter?

Thanks!

Properly shielded RCA's make an enormous difference in rejecting induced noise. A proper installation also helps in getting rid of the noise. Make sure your RCA's and power wire are nowhere near each other (18" apart @ least).

Yes Mark there have been various arguments in the past about this topic...Zane has by far resolved this issue with a post in the last argument...clearly states everything about the quality of RCA's and what you need to know before going out to buy them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
