i can spend anywhere from 800 to 1000 on subs i have a boss hc4000 2-channel amp right now but i dont want to go with memphis because thats what my freind has he is in a cavi and so am i

ill go with the usual list then...

go for a pair of these:

DD (SPL)

Brahma (SQ/SPL)

XXX (SPL/SQ)

Juggy (SPL)

Stroker (SPL)

etc...

Also, you definantly need a new amp if you are going to power such a nice speaker...if you are on a pure $1000 limit...go with only 1 reallly nice sub and get a really nice amp.

I like my boss amp and all, but im gettin the feeling I need a new one, because of the talk and all....so what about going with a 12" juggy and a jbl 600.1

That amp hardly does justice for the Juggy...you'd be running it at 2.8 ohms which puts out about 500 watts...you need a 1200.1 at minimum...

dd 15 9500 with cadence z7000 amp will that be close to him or should i get 2 subs and another amp?

That is a hellacious setup...you'll have more SPL than you need...have fun!
