hi, im new to these forums so i havnt done much browsing to see if this has been posted before but anyway. im looking at eather buying 2 eclipse alums or 2 orion hcca12s. im looking for SQ with it being loud and tough. i want these things to be able to take a beating with still the SQ and loudness. let me know wich would be best. also if you have suggestions for anything better than those that you think please say so. also let me know wich amp to run these with. i was thinking with the eclipse to maybe run them with 2 mono xtants. im not shure what with the orions. thanks for the help. i will be putting these in a dodge ram 1500 ext cab. i plan on taking out the back seats and using all that room for everything.thanks alot for the info.

hey, I heard that the orions have crappy coils, is this true? I thought about gettind a pair. how much power can two take and at what ohmic vaule? I will soon have 3000watts @ 1 ohm max when I run my amp in parrell . I curently have a visonik v800xd mono block.

If you want the bass and all I would go with the jl audio w7 or the brahma. As for the amp go with the jbl 1200.1 or a boss "ripper" 2000.2

the only thing that is any good with boss is their speaker wire and even that is not theirs it is made by necvox but i can't complain my BOSS speakers have not failed me yet with 80 rms going to them in my room on a home stereo they create bass in ported boxes but sealed they sound shit house.
