considering my new setup

im considering one of the following setups. its going in a honda prelude and the amp will be purchased accordingly to the setup....the external dimensions include board width of .75in

1 12" SE600rms

wouldnt need electrical upgrades

2 to 2.5cuft ported (external dimensions) (1.8reccomended)

"good enough"

2 12" SEs

1200rms

hopefully not requiring any electrical upgrades

3.6cuft ported (external dimensions) (3.6 reccomended)

might require having around 4cuft external after sub is placed inside etc. this would be very hard to even fit in my vehicle and id lose practically all of my trunk.

cost the same as one single XXX and hit harder

1 12" XXX

1500-1600rms

most likely requiring electrical upgrades

2.5cuft ported (external dimensions) (2.1 reccomended)

have best sq

costs by far the most after biggest amp and most electrical system upgrades

you could run that xxx w/o electrical mods. it's up to you man, if you want loud go SE's, just cleanliness go xxx

SE would cost less in the long run.

XXX would require a better alternator and bettery, thats around the $500 area

Frosty,ighettoboyi, the stock one is like 75A, 1500W will kill it
