i have 2 12" DVC 4 ohm subs

i want a 1 ohm mono load

my amp is the xtant 1001 dx its a mono amp

basically this amp comes with 2 sets of termials......like this...+ - + -

i assume they lead into 1 channel inside the amp(supposed to simplify muiltiple subswoofers install)

my subs are wired up like this......on 1 subs it goes postive to postice and negative to negative and then 1 set of wire going to amp.

diddo fromthe otehr subs......so i got 2 wires going to the amp.......now my problem is

do i bridge it on the amp and only use 1 set of the terminals (i tie both + up and - and stick them into 1 terminal). + -

or do i use all terminals + - + - .........not sure how i would do this or is it the same either way?

it really doesnt matter if you run each sub on one set of + - or if you bridge both subs onto one set. if you run all your subs off one channel you will still get the same power the +-+- is just a bridged internal channel

yup...and like was said earlier, the extra terminals just make the install cleaner/easier. btw, those are dual 4 ohm coils, right?
