out of no where on my pioneer deh-p7300 deck the front left speaker started to distort i rewired it and bought new speakers but that didnt make a difference i was wondering wat might be the problem i soo confused plz help me ?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I once bought a pioneer headunit (deh-p5200). While I was hooking it up, I looked at the specs in the owners manual. The total harmonic distortion was 5%. I listened to it for 1 day then took it back, exchanged it for a fosgate amp. My kenwood tape deck sounded much better.

you can all breath a sihg of relife head units are all ways rated at a faily high distortion rate that is how they get so much power froma small amp chip

did you try resetting the HP crossover for the front speakers in the HU? they might be distoring because they cant handle full range sounds...

My old kenwood was rated 1% distortion.
