I know people who have refinanced the mortgage on their house to build a bigger system. When 155db on music just isnt enough... You need to be closer to that 160!

ive been debt on and off since i started with car audio. right now im $500 in the hole for a d3 and a xxx10,000 (my dad covered me on the difference and im paying him off.) the d3 i owe about 300 on to a shop owner where i help out. i've spent about $5,000 so far on it and i've only been doing it a year and im 18. i wont eat to pay for car audio. mabe i should have taken up drugs it would have been cheaper.

I buy things when i have extra money or set aside money to buy things in the future... Like i got into an accident like 6 years ago and still get monthly payments on it. It all goes into a savings account and when i wanna buy a new car i got a nice down payment on one.

 

I put my first real system on a credit card and ended up paying like $250 more(interest) than it actually cost. From that point on it wasn't worth it, i only put gas/groceries on my credit card and pay it off every month.

Yes, you can pass on ANY deal.

x2 i learned the hard way at a ripe age of 18, and w/ a 19% interest rate that great deal turns into you getting ripped off. That was the only/last time i charged anything car audio wise to a credit card. Everything i buy now comes directly out of my account.

Back in the day I did quite a bit of charging just to have a nicer car, bigger/louder stereo and what not. I learned my lesson the hard way though.

If I don't have the cash for something, I just don't get it now. Haven't charged anything going on 2 years now, lol!
