The Phoenix Gold makes rated power between 1 and 4 ohms whereas the Audio Que makes max power at 1 ohm. Some of those Phoenix Gold amps also benched as high as 1,400 watts RMS!

200w isn't going to make a difference but i want to say the Aq is underrated also.

4ohms is more efficent. but 1200wrms isn't going to kill anything.

The AQ @ 4 versus the PG @ 4 will be a difference. That was the point I was trying to make....

I guess the other thing it boils down to is the price of the amp. You get a lot for your money with a brand new Audio Que whereas the only Xenons I see are used.
