The HDC318 was on a 2200D in 6 @ 40. The results were mixed... he burped a 148 sealed up on the dash, which was higher than the 15, but not as high as he had hoped. His bass boxing scores were down, because the 18 peaks at 51hz whereas the 15 peaked at about 45. So, he's got to find new songs and whatnot. As the sub breaks in and he finds the right music, he ought to see better scores. We also managed to find a 150.2 outlaw ^_^

My fat *** doing the cutout. Did an 18" cutout through 1.5" MDF with a jigsaw. Didn't have the right bit to use my new toy... a plunge router and a jasper jig.

Where the box went. I dont have any pics of it installed. He'll have to provide them.

Edit: and yes, there is bracing in there. 3 1" dowels.

nice, thats my wish; to have a nice table saw and garage to play and build in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'd build a new box rather than try and find a song that peaks at 50 hz. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

An 18" in that big of a box shouldn't be peaking that high.
