I love the RE series games....a couple were kinda wack, like Outbreak...but 1,2,3,and 4 i thought delivered

% has already created some controversy due to its storyline....takes place in Africa, white guy, killing black zombies...you get the idea

I will for the PS3. Had the 4th one on Ps2. Loved it. Looking forward to it.

I will buy it in a heartbeat.

Even though (since RE4) the franchise has taken a new direction (for the better) I am still looking forward to a game that actually keeps me anticipated and on my tip-tos.

What I mean is, RE4 was a ****ed good game, but it was more action oriented and fast paced. This is the new way for the RE series for survival horror: Fast paced, gotta think quick before you die, etc. The original RE was slow paced, but you felt more on guard, it was actually spooky! People can argue the fixed camera angles and crappy digital controls were outdated, which they were, but it added to the clunkiness that made it difficult to know what was going on.

I'm hoping for a game like that again. Basically RE5 will kick ***, but whether it's an RE game or not, I want something refreshing like the RE or RE0.

i'd like to see more puzzle sovling integrated into RE5 ...like the 1st one, with the action play of RE4

Same here, even though the puzzles in the original Resident Evils we're pretty illogical and had no intellectual thought process towards them.

I still want the next RE (RE6) to be a 50/50 split. That is, the action and gameplay like RE4 and soon to be RE5, but the atmosphere/darkness/creepiness of the original RE's.
