what 6.5 comps for under 100?

alright i'm not going to lie i honestly do not know allot about comps speakers. i usually stick in the subs and amp section. i remember a while back there was a set of comps for i think under 100 bucks that everyone was buying. so if u have any suggestions for a set for under 100 bucks. let me know. i want to try and stick with new if its possible. but i will buy a used amp. so if u have an amp that would work well along with a suggestion of new comps for under 100 let me know. thanks. any of these look good?

ya im not to worried about SQ but like u said i need them to keep up with my 2 Rs on 2k.

Lol, everything I find is at least 150.

If you were willing to do that, I would probably go with some Polk ones, I have some coax right now that I'm using that I rather enjoy, the highs are crisp and clear, and they handle some mid decently....

I'm sure you could get some type RRG comps for 150ish...

I know there was a big ca.com boner of PG RSD and the CDT's so i imagine you couldn't go wrong with either....i've never heard cdt's though

ya i think i may up my budget alittle i am trying to stay at around 300 for both the comps and amp. and i think this amp looks pretty good. only 100 bucks. here and ya the PG RSDs are was i was talking about i remeber some place had them for sale for less then 100. but i cant find it now.

edit heres the pg rsds on ebay for less than 80 shipped you guys think those would work good with that amp?

Is that cadence amp gonna feed comps well?

I don't have any experience with candence, but i see 75watts to each side on 13.8v system.

and i have a 12-12.5v system so..yea.

Dude. No. The lower CDT line is bad. I had the CL-61FG's, and the CL-61's, and while the FG sounded a little better, they both sounded like ***.

I say go with the PG RSD's. For $70 bucks, you can't beat 'em.

You can, but then you get a mono signal to your right and left speakers.

I know what your saying, bridge the 2channel for the 300w that way your getting 150 at 2 on each side, but with speakers you want those two channels. not mono. thats not to mention that that cadence is not 2 ohm stable bridged.

if the speakers are rated at 60, 75 is plenty.

typically with front stage, you dont want to bridge anything into mono.

only scenario where you might do that is 4 channels and you bridge the two right channels and the two left channels.
