need help on subs for my audi, 2 l7 12's, 1 15xxx, or 1 15 death penalty

at the moment i have one kicker 12, ported.... blew the sub.... from a buddy i can purchase one new 12 and he wil replace my blown one, or i can get something else.... i have an amp thats 1800 watts rms at 1 ohm, so i can send 1800 watts to 2 ported l7 12's or one of the two 15's...... and im going for a 80/20 spl/sq.... box will be about 4.5-5.0 cu ft..... need info soon, ordering subs.....

He's looking for a 80 SPL / 20 SQ mix i think the death penalty will suffice for exactly what he is lookign ofr its more in the box design for it .

If that DP blows in that amount of power I would be more then amazed. The DP is a beyond strong driver well cappible of taking several times its recomended power for daily use and as well as comps. A single DP 15 in about 4.5 cubes tuned to 45Hz and pluged down low like 30Hz or so would be amazing. Not only in SPL with the high tuned port but SQ as well with the lower tuning. The DP has farly decent SQ for its abillity to get loud. DP is a very very good driver all the way around. I would put a single DP against a pair of 12 L7's any day....IMO

Another vote goes towards the Death Penalty. I really love mine. I wish i had more power i could give it though. the DP will take that 1800w RMS with ease.

its not Digital Designs its Incriminator Aduio that makes the DP and the MSRP o nthe site is a bit expensive but it nearly same price as XXX im told.
