You must have an even number of each for it to work. And yes equal numbers of each. You have enough to end up with 6 16v batts.

just think of it this way. 12v batteries have 6 cells and 16v have 8......24 cells so for every 4 12v you are making 3 17.7 batteries

ok well nevermind.. i sold my powermaster 16v to soundcheck for thier superstreet 3-4 van. i figured he needed them more than i did since hes going spl. my astro will just be daily bassrace setup

I would say to charge them at 12v since thats what they were intended.They higher charging voltage could damage them.

charge the 16v bank @ 12v, or wire them up 12v to charge them?

i havent actually purchased the modded batteries. they were pioneerpimps i just had a question about them. i bought his 4 unmodded batteries.

by chance do u know if u can fit a 2nd alternator on an astro pretty easy? i know thats meant for a different thread.

yah if i knew where i could buy 4 more modded 2400s on top of his if he would sell them that is. i would go that route. more than likely ill be stickin to 12v
