Best sub for under $80ish?

the base RE10 is a good sounding sub for the money...it sounds good in small sealed boxes

The ED sub looks like it would be a great buy. Midwest electronics has some Blaupunkt subs for $30-40, and people are pretty pleased with those too (I personally have a Blau sub...wonder if that ED would be worth an upgrade? The Blau has been great to me so far). I was also looking at some Diamond and MB Quart subs, but I'm not sure how those compare.

Loud is OK as long as it has good SQ and is accurate (and good for metal).

ordered and got an ed 13kn.2 in the one for 50 and its got better sq than my jl 10w3v2d2 as long as you tune it correctly...

Hm, I was actually considering getting that eD sub for myself, but I don't think the 4 ohm DVC (the only one on clearance) will work for me. My amp (Blaupunkt THA 275) can do 2 x 75 watts RMS at 4 ohms, 2 x 120 watts RMS at 2 ohms, or 1 x 200 watts RMS at 4 ohms. I can't bridge it to 2 ohms, and running it in 8 ohm mode to power the sub would really cut its power down to a point where it's not worth it...right?

The Kv.2 would be my choice as well, sounds great sealed, and gets pretty low, not low enough for me, but it does get low
