why is my stereo not working?

okay so today i decided to hook up my coaxials to an amp but i only had time to do one and of course im an idiot and hooked it to the subwoofer output(i will fix that) but then 15 minutes later when i started my car to go to work i didnt hear any music, it still reads the ipod and says its playing but none of the speakers are doing anything

i guess i should of mentioned that i didnt touch the head unit today and that after wiring the speaker everything was working fine

is the amp powering up? rca's plugged into the amp? i mean if all you didnt was wire the speakers into an amp theres not much you coulda messed up, at least with the information provided.

You need to test for voltage at the amp. Power and remote. Make sure rcas are plugged in.

Also some amps will not play with only one speaker hooked up so try hooking the other speaker directly to it to see if that works.

yes amp was getting power and everything was working fine until i turned the car back on 15 minutes later, then even speakers that were not hooked up to the amp didnt work

check ur fuse box for a blown fuse?

well the rcas are correct now and i see no loose wires, i cannot find the fuse for my stereo
