*Note to self: do not leave DMM under hood (pics)

That's better than what I expected to see, a picture of a dented hood. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Do yourself a favor, buy a battery tender. They are a low amp charger that senses when to turn on/off for you. No need to check on it.

edit you can find them cheaper, just linking for example.
My battery charger has an automatic 2 amp setting as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The manual setting just lets me keep the voltage up the way I want to. When I leave the charger on overnight I set it to the automatic setting.

My old charger was a completely automatic one and it sucked. It would say the batteries were at 100% even when i knew they weren't and would only float around 13.2 volts.

This is the charger I have now. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif MUCH better than the old automatic only one.

Your charger has a 'tender/minder' setting, or just drops down to 2 amps? If you mean the former, nice charger. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif If you mean the latter, that's pretty common in chargers and not the same thing as a tender.

eidt: I see you added and answered my question already lol

Cheers.
It is an "automatic" 2 amp setting that senses when the batteries are 100% full, then goes into float/tender mode.

edited because of your edit. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
