ha ha, I'm going to do that mod to my neon, its not quite free, costs 2 washers to make it pivot easily, and 2 pins if you don't want to have to keep taking the 2 bolts in and out...mod takes about 30 min. I want to do it so i can show off my subs/amp at a car show next month. and btw,when you put in the pins/2nd set of bolts, its just as secure as normal.
