4'cubs @28Hz for a XXX15 Box - Pics :)

Ya, but is there self damping plywood?

No, but they make ply that is more dense than MDF //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif MDF isn't the no holds barred end all be all material for enclosures. It's just more economical than some other choices. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

P.S. MDF has problems with resonation too........................//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I used

http://www.accelerator-pedal.com/ported-box.asp

to give me a design for the box....4 cubs in the Net Volume according to the site...

ya ya went a little apeshit with the screws, but we did predrill piolet holes and it seems to hold pretty well. We did use wooder glue, and i spraypainted it black since i was feeling somethign differant than carpet but still economical.

Here are pics of mine. 4 cu tune to 32. It's 29.5" deep. Not yet in my car. Need a hand lol

You need help getting a 4cf. box into your car?God **** you must be weak. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif Unless your car is uber tricky.

Some tips.Home depot and lowes guys are probably getting paid minimum wage. They could give a rats *** if your cuts are strait. If you build boxes or anything that often I recommend you buy a nice table saw. That box caculator sucks ***, extremely questionable. And don't put screws that close together.

BassAddictJ... I'm sure this has been said already.... that box needs more screws //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

All kidding aside, good job, I'm sure you'll like it. I've got my 12's in 5 cubes net at 28 hz... they are downright HATEFUL on the low notes.
