Will this amp be enough for this sub?

I'm doing my first sub install and picked out an amp and sub. I choose the Alpine S-W10D4 (https://www.alpine-usa.com/product/s-w10d4) because its the perfect sub for my small sealed enclosure I have but was wondering if this Skar RP-800.1D (https://www.skaraudio.com/collections/rp-car-audio-amplifiers/products/rp-800-1d-car-amplifier) amp will be enough power? I planned on running 2 ohms and the amp is rated at 600rms which appears to work well with the sub however, I'm not sure if I should spend the extra $20 and get the RP-1200.1D (https://www.skaraudio.com/collections/rp-car-audio-amplifiers/products/rp-1200-1d-car-amplifier) for a little more head room.

Spend the 20, use the extra headroom to keep the gains low. Also leaves room to add another 10 if you should feel yourself lacking for bass.

Worth the 20 in my opinion

Getting a good voltage reading does not mean good power transfer. You could read 13.8v out of a 24 AWG wire. Recheck your amplifier's ground and...
