hi ... i hope you are doing well ...

i have 2 pairs of HERTZ 1650.3 component speakers

https://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/car-audio-speakers-system-mille-pro-mpk1650-3/

4 woofers

4 tweeters

4 crossovers

and it is 3 ohms ... 125 RMS 250 Peak ..

i read that amplifiers reduce sound quality .. but some of amplifiers dont ..

i prefer best sound quality not high volumes ..

i searched much but didnt got a clue yet :(

first time to deal with audio things ... and dont know what should i buy for these speakers ...

have a nice day :)

If we look at the same brand, Hertz, here is an amplifier that will do a great job: https://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/car-audio-amplifiers-mlpower4/

Congratulations on selecting those Mille Pro speakers. How did you decide on those speakers over so many other great options?

i saw this amplifier for sure ... but the impedance  is 2 or 4 ... no 3 here ...

also i read that is D class is not the best for sound quality ... and the price is high ...

about the speakers .. are they that bad ? i searched much and i read much reviews for other brands and a seller recommend these for me .... after searching i found these speakers a high quality speakers  ... so i decided to buy them ... the price was for about 500$ for 1 set in amazon and other sites ... but i got 2 pairs for 600 $ ...

i am new to audio world and i dont know much about audio systems ...

if you know something about these speakers i hope you tell me what you know ...

thank you :)

Amplifiers have a minimum rated impedance for reliable operation. Your speakers don't need to be 2 or 4 ohms for it to work well. Think of it as a standard way of describing amplifiers and know that 3 ohm power output is between 2 and 4 ohms.

As with all audio amplifiers some are designed better than others. Class D full range amplifiers aren't the enemy of sound quality, it's more correct to avoid poorly designed amplifiers.

You should purchase your equipment from an authorized dealer. We all love a good deal but sometimes shopping on price gets us in trouble, like when we expect the factory warranty to help and then discover it's not going to be honored because of the seller.

3 ohms is just a less common speaker impedance, so you don't see amps spec'd for power at that impedance.

The Hertz amp above, with power output of 150w at 4 ohms and 250w at 2 means it's going to be right around 200w at 3.  Without going into a lot of detail, that is a good amount of power for a pair of high quality speakers rated for 150w rms.

Yes, the Hertz amp is pricey, but when you buy $600 components nobody is going to suggest you use a budget amp to run them.

Here are a few others that would work well:
