So i purchased the PAC LD-10 a couple weeks back because i have a cheap Headunit with 2v RCA outs. I was unable to get the Pac working Correctly. I Tried 75% gain on the Pac which it does fine, but once i turn the gain up on my amp past 1/4 the speakers go crazy (like some kind of feedback). Tried turning the gain down on the Pac and raising it on the amp and the same spot it happens every time. I dont have the funds right now to buy a good double din head unit.

So im looking at a different option. My budget is around 50$. Ive been looking at EQ's with line drivers. I really want to stay away from individual gain pots. I found this one (i know the brand *****) https://www.rockvilleaudio.com/r7eq/

https://www.amazon.com/Massive-Audio-EQ-7X-Equalizer-Graphic/dp/B00852WCR4/ref=sr_1_10?keywords=equalizer+car&qid=1557775118&s=gateway&sr=8-10

was also considering this but it has individual pots https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_46587_NVX-XEQ7-Graphic-Equalizer-Equivalent-to-Clarion-EQS755.html

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Why don't you just save up more $ for a nicer headunit? Work a few extra hours per week, cut a few lawns, you're $50 closer to a better headunit, why stop there? Fix the problem correctly instead of forever chasing a band aid.

^^This is good advice.

And....line drivers hooked up to stock head units are notorious for bad signal/clean sound. Good sound comes from the source to start with.

Exactly get a head unit with at least 4 volt rca's as there is a ton of those out there. JVC's and Kenwoods are made by the same company have have a lot of head units with those features. Check out sonicelectronix.com and iirc JVC has a nice head unit for around 130 dollars WITH 3 sets of 5 volt Rca's that will also come with the wiring harness and dash kit included.

https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_160685_JVC-KD-T905BTS.html

That head unit has a ton of features including time alignment, 2 usb's, sd card, works with iphone and android. For that price it has so many features on it that 250+ head units come with.

If you are insistent on a double din head unit then you are looking at that 190+ dollar range and there is some nice head units in that range as well but if you are looking for said features like I posted above then there is no reason for a double din as a single din will work just fine with a dash kit.

Thanks for the info. I took it and purchased a AVH-2330NEX
