I'm wondering if subs like skar or sundown are capable of keeping up with a double kick bass drum like in a lot of heavy metal songs? I know it has a lot to do with being in a sealed encloser but it seems like these type of subs are not meant for sealed boxes.

Are whores capable of having tight *******? What the bloody hell kinda stupid question is this. It has nothing do do with a sealed enclosure. You're a f*****g moron.

To answer your question yes a lot of brands that are typically used for spl can be musical, for people that mostly listen to rock I always suggest 10’s. And never....neva Eva Eva in a sealed box.

Wrong section bro.

A sealed box will tend to need a lot of power to get it to sound good vs. a good designed ported one. I might suggest a ported box tuned to 36Hz should have nice SQ.

As far as whores and tight ******* I'll ask your wife when I pay her to leave. Also you seem the type you like your box ported anyway. It's not a dumb question until I know the answer then it becomes a dumb question.

You're not going to know until you test with a meter. Typically even carpeting a box as opposed to painting is going to lose a few tenths.
