impedance rise plus music not being a 0 db test tone makes it so you never draw 800 amps.  Same goes for korean amps unless you wire them to the dirt.  Most music is -5 db or under with pauses between music so you'll never be getting the power you think you are getting being wired to just 1 ohm, you'll need to look at 2-4 ohm numbers and thats where you will actually clamp clean.  Only advantage korean had was being able to wire to the dirt but now taramps has the bass series which can be wired to the dirt as well, reliability is just as consistent as koreans, i've seen equal amounts of blown amps from both camps, except taramps has actual warranties while koreans leave you **** out of luck.
