So if I have three 4ohm dvc subs and I run one sub parallel on the coils to make it 2 ohm but only use one coil from the other 2 and run all three parallel to my mono amp will the one sub using both voice coils receive more power or would the wattage still be distributed equally? I would prefer 1ohm load over 1.3ohm.

I'd either wire to .67 if possible (what amp do you have?) or just enclose the subs a bit differently if you're concerned with output.

All that nonsense your contemplating with making 3 dvc 4 ohm coils be at 1 ohm is a bad idea with all sorts of issues.

Honestly I don't think it would be hard for them to make it where you use android auto AND your own music source. They made it able to do so...

Agreed with this here. Since you have the unit pulled out of the car/dash...test it at your car battery directly for operation. very simple to do...

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M
