What's wrong with my electrical system?

wiring is faulty. faulty ground. or the wire gauge is insufficiant. use thicker wire (lower gauge number)
check every point of connection. especially make sure the ground to the vehicle has a good connection and your not running excessively long wire runs.

check your voltage at amp when playing it loud not at battery....

I had this happen once years ago. My fuse block melted. Haven't used those crappy clear fuse blocks since.
Using cca wire from font to back can also lead to over 1v drop at the amp vs at front bat. Also using to small of wire can cause resistance.
Mate, if you state you have correct AWG power wires to suit your amp, please check your Ground terminal, from battery all the way to your amplifier distribution block that attaches to the vehicle chassis, as this can get loose over time and cause issues. Remember power travels from negative to positive hence the 12V negative ground theory! :veryhapp:

team no fuse FTW. I havent used a fuse for years and i've been happy ever since. Those shits cause more headaches and heart attacks then they prevent.

What is the appropriate way to do further tests? I'm using 4 gauge wire so that isn't the issue. Is there a way to use the multimeter to test if the amp's ground is sufficient? Could my battery be the issue or is not surely not the battery because the voltage at the battery stays around 14V?
