You will never get more than 350dca cold at peak rpm out of an alternator that will fit just about any passenger car, truck, or suv. 

If you can have literally one alternator you need to pay $400+ for a HO large case alt from a reputable company like Singer, Ohio alts, and many others

 
I paid over $600 for my one DC power 270.

I replied to your last post you made. Contact CES alternators on facebook.  

Don't buy an ebay alternator....

Is it possible though for a alternator built for a specific model car to be used on another? In any way? Is it based on engine size? What makes them vehicle specific?

You just found your own solution. Move the DSP elsewhere. The RCA is triple protected but not the RCA plugs. I do not know if there is a mesh or...
