making fiberglass Kick pods for my off road Jeep cherokee, gonna use these cheap Lanzar 6.5" subs and these DS18 tweeters

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BKGC5KK/?coliid=I34IOGHAFE7ZKI&colid=203VS48CYY7O&psc=0

would I be better off using those DS18 passive crossovers or using a 4 channel amp with tweeters on fronts and the 6.5 on rears and using amp crossovers to control them ?

I couldn't find any crossover specs on those passives.

OK now that I know everyone is gonna tell me those lanzars are ****. they are $20 each I think they'll make a decent mid...

my Cherokee is no stranger to 4" of water in the floors when I go mudding... so i'm not gonna put a set of $100 mids in it, or I'd order Deaf Bonce 6.5s

I plan to seal the kick pods best I can but if I screw up a Mid I ordered 4 just to have 2 spares.

If you get in that deep of mud consider moving all your speakers on top and the highest point you can place your amps. I’ve seen a couple people rocking 4 6.5 on the headliner by adding another headliners speaker pods right  on top of the front seats. Love seeing all these XJ’s getting some love

prepping sub box to spray with Raptor liner, and amps will be fine, they are in the hatch area and so far I haven't gotten water back there.

I'm sticking with Kick pods as they are louder and will be my only mids and highs, and will sound way better than mounted up high.

main reason I take in so much water is I pulled carpet and drain plugs and raptor lined the whole floor.

On another note, if you're competing in SPL, you might want to check around at what the best crossover point is. These two drivers (your 6.5s and...
