Hello,

So I just got a new system installed. Here is what I'm using:

Using this to power four speakers:

https://www.crutchfield.com/p_091ISC130/Focal-Integration-ISC-130.html?cc=02

From what I have researched, it is ok to have a pair of 4 ohm speakers and a pair of 2 ohms speakers and that the ohms for all the speakers don't have to completely match.

Using https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BF6HYDE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to power 1 rockford fosgate p3d4-12 sub.

I am using 0 gauge CCA wire which goes to a fused distribution block and then a 4 gauge OFC goes to the rockford amp and 8 gauge goes to the SO amp. Although CCA wasn't the best choice on my part, the wire was already run and I'm sure the 0 gauge part makes up for it. Normally, 4 gauge OFC for both amps would have worked.

I have my grounds for both amps (using 4 and 8 gauge OFC respectively) going to one single ground point. This is located under the rug of the seat storage area right behind the drivers seat. Of course, the paint is scrapped. I will let you know that I had an installer who has been doing car audio for over 35 year. Pretty much everyone in the area says he does and good job and I am not doubting it.

I am having my doubts about whether the ground point he chose was good however. I feel like it has to be a bad ground because I did test it out with the RCA's unplugged and the noise was still there. I don't want to believe it's a bad amp because I feel like it would be more obvious. The noise is pretty faint.

I did go to one audio shop and they did say that under the rug in the seat compartment is not a good ground point and that it would have to be grounded to the A pillar nearby. For whatever reason, I didn't believe them.

The vehicle is a Dodge Grand Caravan 2005. Unfortunately, it's really hard for me to know what a good grounding point is. I'm pretty much a car audio and automobile novice, so I don't know a whole lot. Would anyone have an idea of if I should be using a different place to ground these amps or if I should be checking something else?

Another thing to note, the tweeters have been sounding extra bright for whatever reason. I think i I've heard aftermarket speakers before, but they didn't sound this bright. Maybe there's too much going through them??? I don't think there would be though because I did test the speakers at high volumes, and didn't hear any distortion. Surprisingly, these things can get really get loud and still not distort. At least from what my ears are hearing, their not. I don't have an oscilloscope to look for clipping.
