Need help understanding what I need for my speaker overhaul

Hey guys, it's my first post here and I know little about car audio so be nice :))

Anyways, I have a 01' jeep that I'd like to improve the sound on. Nothing crazy, but I can't really crank my volume with the current setup without getting a ton of distortion. There is currently room for 4 5.25" sized speakers. I would like to install 4 speakers, add 2 tweeters, and a low-profile subwoofer. I was thinking of these products:

I know I'll have to mount the tweeters somewhere on my dashboard/in my doors and the subwoofer will just go under the passengers seat/rear bench seat.

My question is, what amplifer setup do I need to run these speakers? Most amps I can find are just 4 channel or 2.1 channels or 4.1 channels. Will I need a 6.1 channel amplifier for this setup? Also as I understand it those speakers are rated RMS 60W?

You do not want separate tweeters.  That's the whole point of buying coaxials, they're built in along with "crossover".    And yes, you won't need a whole lot of power to get them loud.  That said there's no rule that you have to run your amp at full tilt so if you find an amp that's 100X4 +300X1 for example just gain down the front and rear channels appropriately so you don't stress the coaxials.

Also I think you would do better with a 5 channel amp + a non powered sub.  Would be an easier install and probably better performance.  I'd consider those all in one powered subs an absolute last resort or bare bones upgrade if you're keeping everything else stock and want to be as non invasive as possible. 

 
I definitely agree on the amp info hispl said. I would get a 5ch and a non powered sub. If you must try one of those plastic enclosed slim subs, atleast with a 5ch when you dont like it, its and easy upgrade later without swapping amps.

I like those JBL gto speakers. I have used them for several peoples budget installs and they do well.

Did the 6.5 component and 6.5 coax in a 2010 wrangler 4dr with a skar 8" shallow in the stock box on a alpine 5ch. Customer was extremely pleased with the results. Run with the stock headunit.

Ok that makes sense. I just won't get the tweeters then, saves me some money. What are some options for a non-powered sub that I can hide in my 01' Cherokee?

I really have no idea but all the big name brands should have some options.  JBL/Infinity, Kicker, JL, etc.  Should have plenty of room in a Jeep so not sure if you just want something that looks stealth or are just unwilling to give up any space.
