I need a cheap decent amp

how many voice coils does your L7 have and what are the impedance of each?

Taramps Bass1200 2 ohm.

Taramps MD1800 2 ohm

Taramps HD3000 2 ohm.

Taramps DSP1600 2 ohm.

avoid those at all costs. we all know who those brands are and trust me when i say to avoid them unless you want to replace them and waste your money

I really think you should get the soundqubed 1200 homie recommended because it's a more reliable brand and it has a clipping indicator which alone can save you $100+

Rockville's a decent budget option.

On such a small budget there's no need for 1500, or even 1200w -- it's a 1000w sub.  More power's just SQ insurance that you don't need.

The DB14 will give you ~1000 @ 2 for <$120.

If you want more power anyway, the DB15 will do ~1400 for <$150.

Higher power also means more stress on the electrical system.  Alt and battery upgrades aren't cheap either.

I would get an Audiopipe amp before anything Rockville.

APMI2k can be had for around $150 with a coupon code if you're smart about it.

I'm guessing you read that on an Amazon review or something. Those people are retarded. I mean the most selling amps on Amazon are usually Boss or Ignite with reviews like "this **** slams so hard it broke my windshield best 5000w amp for $80"
