sherwood71 57 #3 Posted September 12, 2018 Definitely add lots of beer to the list. You will need it to wash the fiberglass dust away. Only thing I can think of that isn't on your list is some 40 grit or 80 grit sand paper. Use this to rough the panels up for your next coat of fiberglass. Take your time and don't rush it and remember to take lots of pics. We all like pictures. Good luck with your project 1 West1 reacted to this

I should be able to find a solid piece of wood for 2.00 (MDF will be backup) Mechman 270 HO alt XS Power D3400 Duracell G31 FSD 2600 2 SA-15's 2007 Frontier
THATpurpleKUSH 1,698 #7 Posted September 12, 2018 Make sure you use a respirator with N95 rating. A cheap dust mask won't cut it.

And you'll need to continue stepping to a finer sandpaper for a smooth finished product. hispls 3,420 #13 Posted September 14, 2018 Late to the party here, but if you haven't ordered, shop around at US Composites. I've had good experiences ordering supplies from them. Also you're missing acetone from your list. You will absolutely want that to clean up. Might also want to add some blue painter's tape if you need to mask off anything. 1 West1 reacted to this
