has anyone ever considered making a bespoke wiki page specifically relegated to car audio brands? The actual wikipedia is pretty devoid of this subject and it seems that the history of brands comes up somewhat frequently. That being said, the logistics of keeping such information sorted properly can be a complete nightmare, so maybe have a select few who can make the updates? Admins, senior members etc etc.

yeah, i was a tech support team lead at a prior job before getting in the health insurance industry and i maintained an internal wiki that was the resource for all the tech support reps when troubleshooting and it was a chore, but the tool that became available as an end result was invaluable. It would be quite an undertaking, but man... think about how awesome it would be for this site to house THE source of info for the history of all the 12v brands. where they started, how they evolved, who bought and sold who etc etc
