Best budget 2nd battery?

Recommended Posts

We did the preorder sale on the Wolfram 2400.1. Used the GEM code from bigblanks video and got it super cheap! We've been running the 1600w amp we have now on stock electrical in our 2008 Yukon Denali XL. I'll be adding the big 3, a second battery and a volt meter. What would be my best choice from Sam's Club? Any other place I should be looking? Thanks.

Diehard agm in group size that fits you ride is your best bet. Was on a sale for $119 when I got mine

B stock deka group 31 on ebay, about $150 shipped. Don't mix agms with non agm batteries.

I have a new agm under the hood. Should I put the second battery in the spot under the hood or in the back by the amp?

Do you have a link to that?

Looks like there aren't any more available but I found new 9a31s for a good price from the same seller I bought my stock 9a31s from.

I used 2 Deka marines, I prefer the 4 posts. 1 under the hood, other in the trunk. Not sure on if I want a battery isolator, but keep your batteries about the same. These were about $90 each. Find a dealer close to you.eaabe22a06ebae9d13781f5843b479a9.jpg77b680287c832b19b04b4318e00d84a2.jpg

I like my 80ah limitless

But seriously...if you have a Battery Outfitters or similar in your area check with them. Before moving to lithium I had 3 refurbished Odyssey 2150s that worked great. They were around $70 each.

It's hard to go back to Optima ever since late 2000's when I had to warranty so many of their batteries out because of failure.
