Hello,

I am new to audio and electrical tech.

I recently purchased the CDT https://cdtaudio.com/carspecific/nf6902.php package for my Nissan Frontier.

It lists a 4 ohm impedance for everything, but multimeter testing showed 2.1 ohms for the 6.5 rear fill, 2.2 ohms for the 6x9 components, and 4 ohms for the 2 inch tweeters.

Am I not understanding the specs or did they send me the wrong mids?

I would call them, but they are closed on weekends, and I would like to install them asap.

Thanks for any help.

Ken prolly sent the 2 ohm kids to pull more power from your amp to be louder the components will sound louder because they are closer to your ears But when you hook the components up to the crossovers. You should see a 4 ohm Lias

are you testing it with or without the crossover wired up

I connected a tweeter and 6x9 to the crossover, then a wire to the amp input- which in turn connected to multimeter: 2.7 ohms.

~Thanks for anymore thoughts

Will the 6.5 rear fill be too loud though?

~thx

What also helps is the suspensions on them aren’t as tight as a virgin on prom night! Sorry I couldn’t resist using this joke 🤣

Might be the 3/4" - better off-axis response and/or sensitivity could lead to a brighter sounding tweeter. I'm not sure why they recommend moving...
