I like these deck screws with the torx drive myself. Drywall screws are OK for smaller subs but much more prone to breaking and IMO the torx is a bit less likely to slip or strip.i use some coated screws, but with reg philips heads. use them to mount my amp too. shorted than these tho...

plus, if they strip ot on the back side, its nigh on impossible to get them out

yeah i used 200 3" torx head like that for floor joist they do work well..
