sewer/drain isnt schedule 40.. is it a given that additional prep work is needed? or is this thin wall acceptable as is?
I wish I had a piece handy to measure the thickness difference but its not that much. Its not like schedule 40 was determined to be the industry standard in subwoofer ports haha. I cant imagine it being an issue and I have never heard anyone ever bring up the slight thickness difference before.

Home depot should carry a sch 35 sewer and drain pipe, the inner diameter is actually 5.75 and the od is the same as an areo port ao it will work with flares and connectong rings.

ive always built slot ports, but def curious about the "port" requirements. sewer/drain is approx an 1/8" thick, vs schedule 40 is 1/4" thick. Im concerned how the port thickness will effect tuning via thin wall vs thick wall. theres also a schedule 80 too..

The sch 35 is about twice as thick as the sidewall of the black abs plastic port tube that the aero came with.
