wow mms on those subs is very low should be easy to move but fs is only 50hz

Yah I saw the FS after I purchased. I picked them up from the actual creator at his shop about 45min from here. Nice to rock local gear, i wish that fs was like 32 tho

How did the loc / Lc8i work out? I hate using locs but im in same boat with a newer car that has everything integrated with the stock head unit and hvac stuff.

The LC8i will be installed this saterday. I have looked into several options Fix 86 , SC4.1 , LC8i .. ultimatley i decided on the lc8i. Ill post a sound check after some tweeks this weekend.

I sorta felt like I was "settling" with the lc8i or fix86 or w/e similar units...After having the LC8i in hand and almost installing it I at the last minute decided to do something better. Which I was going to avoid but I said f*** it go "bigger"

No more lc8i I sent it back.. I am waiting for my new parts to get here wednesday. I will be adding a dash kit with a 7" in dash double din deck that sits right below my 8.4" screen. I will link parts below.

Here is a manufacture video of my exact make/model car with the kit.

^that's probably the best choice just to get a new head unit. I am in same situation in my G8 GT, everything is tied to the stock head unit and also the hvac is tied in. Just the kit alone is $800ish and comes with an lcd screen to control the hvac air / heat and the wiring with a facia kit (no head unit including) so that's another $300-$400+.

From my research a good head unit is best. however the FiX 86 does still give a ****** EQ with ur laptop usb hooked up. ultimatley i got everything for $742... the lc8i was almost 300. thats a difference of $442 its pretty big but well worth it.

I also plan on adding Lockpick c8 so I can unlock nav/video on factory screen also while in motion.

What year is ur car I can try to find a kit cheaper. Also another idea is buy a nice singe dinn deck and put that ***** in the glove box or under a seat or wherever and hardwire a remote / usb

Took me $762 and 7 hours but here is the new dash kit and double dinn //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yep, the g8 GT is basically a Holden Australian car. They are really nice cars. I have seen the g8 with a bed, it's called a Ute, short for utility. They also have a g8 wagon in Australia. I've always been a gm guy. I always wanted a g8 GT since when they first came out. I was lucky enough to get a pretty low mileage one 4 months ago that was very well taken care of. I do like the Pontiac Grand Prix as well.
